![]() ![]() Ironically, shooting such a lightweight revolver isn’t full of drama. In a word: light and, thus, very easy to carry all day. The one thing I will say is that my local range has Charter Arms guns as their only available revolvers to rent, and they haven't fallen apart after months of hard use. The Charter Arms Earthborn Undercover Lite (MSRP 422) weighs a mere 12 ounces unloaded and just over 16.5 ounces when loaded with five Winchester 158-grain lead round-nose cartridges. Now, this wouldn't be my first revolver, as I have a S&W Model 60-7 that I still love, but as I'm sure you know, once you get one gun your next thought turns towards getting another! I like the sound of their Police Undercover - a six-shot snubnose in stainless steel - but I don't want to shell out for a gun that's just going to end up going back to the factory for repairs.ĭo any of you guys have experiences - good or bad - with Charter Arms revolvers? I will say that I intend to shoot it and not just leave it as a seldom-used backup. ![]() ![]() I realize that the company has had a bit of a shaky history until the 2000s and that some of the negativity stems from lousier quality control from their earlier era. However, I've heard both good and bad stories about the guns. For a while now I've been off-and-on considering getting a Charter Arms revolver.
